$1 Million in Grants Available for Mahoning County Small Businesses | News, Sports, Jobs

YOUNGSTOWN — Mahoning County businesses can apply for a new round of Small Business Relief Fund grants through Valley Economic Development Partners.

Mahoning County commissioners gave $1 million from U.S. bailout funds to Valley Partners to distribute to small businesses in increments of up to $10,000 each.

Eligible small businesses must be in Mahoning County and show at least a 25% reduction in revenue between 2019 and 2020.

Companies that have not received a grant from Valley Partners can apply now. Former beneficiaries of the program can start an application on Monday. Grants will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.

Additionally, Mahoning County Commissioners and Valley Partners established a $2 million revolving loan fund to provide short-term, low-interest loans to help businesses through the economic crisis.
